Born in Cardiff in 1948, Shakin’ Stevens was the UK’s biggest-selling singles artist of the 80’s with memorable hits such as “This Ole House”, “Green Door”, “Oh Julie”, and “Merry Christmas Everyone”, all four of which reached number one either in the US or UK. Overall Stevens had 33 Top 40 hit singles making him one of the biggest and most well-known artists of the 1980’s.
