Death In Bollywood – BBC Two (2/3)

List item

Death in Bollywood tells the tragic story of British Bollywood actress Jiah Khan who was found dead in her family’s Mumbai apartment in June 2013, aged just 25.

This 3-part series gives an intimate look into her life through family video and interviews with her sisters, mother, and step-father who believe there is more to her death than suicide, and point suspicion towards Jiah’s actor boyfriend Sooraj Pancholi, who is also interviewed along with his famous father Aditya Pancholi.

Containing some upsetting scenes, this is a gripping story of fame, family, love and jealousy, and ultimately one of tragedy and utter devastation.

We watched the first episode of this on the same night as we watched the first episode of The Pembokeshire Murders, and found it to be the better of the two programs.
