Bonnie Tyler was born in Wales in 1951 and during the 1970’s/1980’s released two of the best selling singles of all time, both of which sold over 6 million copies each – “It’s a Heartache” ( 1977) and “Total Eclipse of the Heart” (1983). Another huge hit for Tyler during the 80’s was “Holding Out for a Hero” (1984) which reached number 2 in the UK and number 1 in Ireland.
Bonnie Tyler still records and performs today, and in March 2020 announced her eighteenth studio album titled “The Best Is Yet To Come” which is due to be released in February 2021 after its initial released date was pushed back due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
