Born in 1955 in Coventry, England, Hazel O’Connor became famous during the early 80’s with hit singles “Eighth Day”, “D-Days”, and “Will You?”. She also starred in the 1980 film Breaking Glass, which she wrote all the songs for after being chosen for the lead role ahead of Toyah Wilcox whom she is friends with.
