Karen Gillan is a Scottish actress, filmmaker, and philanthopist who starred as Amy Pond next to Matt Smith in Doctor Who (2010 – 2013) which was her breakthrough role.
In 2013 she was cast as Nebula, the supervillain in Guardians of the Galaxy. She reprised the role in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017), Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Avengers: Endgame (2019).
